Our Staff.......

<Senior Pastor - Rev. Steve McPeek>I have come to this community after serving several churches in the North Indiana area.  I have served in ministry in the United Methodist Church for 12 years.  I come with unique life experiences as I was a member of a multi-cultural United Methodist congregation.  I was an active member of the youth choir, Bible Class, Sunday School and youth group.
I am married and my wife’s name is Annette.  We have two children; Brock and Danielle.
Before going into full-time ministry I worked in the printing industry as a pre-press 4/color stripper and supervisor, letter press operator, bindery and finishing.  I have an associate degree in Printing Technology, Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Arts Management, both of which are from Ball State University, and a Masters of Divinity degree from United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio.
I am called into ministry to serve God and minister to His people.  My spiritual journey has been one of growth in faith and love of God.  I am also called as a child of the Lord to build the Kingdom of God for the transformation of the world.  I desire to fulfill God’s call upon my life to invite all people into his Kingdom for the glory of God.  It is only through the grace of God and the power of His Holy Spirit I can accomplish his call upon my life.
I invite you to come and seek the love, wisdom and grace of the Lord our God here with us at Markle UMC.  God may be calling you here to serve, worship and minister together with us as we seek to live in communion with God, set apart from the world, to make an eternal difference in the lives of those around us.
